Pakistan Programme
Water for Life Pakistan
Clean water for vulnerable communities across Pakistan.
Across Pakistan, millions of people still lack reliable access to safe drinking water. The Amir Khan Foundation installs hand pumps, boreholes and water systems that give communities clean water close to home, improving health, easing hardship and creating lasting change.

Why this programme matters
Access to clean water remains a daily struggle for vulnerable communities across Pakistan. In many rural and underserved areas, families rely on unsafe sources such as open wells, stagnant water and poorly maintained supply systems. The consequences are severe: repeated illness, lost time, added pressure on women and girls, and entire communities living without the basic dignity of safe water close to home.
Poor access to water is not only a health issue, it affects every part of daily life. Children are more likely to fall ill and miss school. Women and girls often spend hours collecting water. Families already facing poverty are pushed further into hardship by the cost of illness, travel and lost time. In communities without dependable water infrastructure, even the simplest daily tasks become more difficult.
The Amir Khan Foundation delivers long-term water solutions in Punjab, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh. Through hand pumps, boreholes, filtration systems and solar-powered water projects, we help communities access safe water in a way that is practical, sustainable and built to last. Every installation is selected according to local needs, terrain, water table depth, and long-term viability.
This is an ongoing programme rooted in dignity and lasting impact. Our aim is to bring safe water closer to communities, reduce preventable hardship, and create infrastructure that continues to serve families for years to come.

Give with Confidence
The Amir Khan Foundation delivers this programme through trusted local teams and delivery partners who understand the communities they serve and the practical requirements of each installation. Projects are selected based on need, terrain, groundwater conditions and long-term sustainability.
Each completed project is documented in full, including the GPS location of the installation, photographs taken before, during and after construction, and a completion report confirming the community served and the number of beneficiaries. Where requested, a plaque can also be installed in the name of a loved one.
We are committed to accountable delivery, so supporters can give with confidence and see how their contribution has created lasting benefit for a community in need.
The best act of charity is to give someone water to drink.
