The war in Ukraine has caused millions to become displaced, with people's access to basic necessities such as water, food and health restricted in areas of active conflict.
"Since the war has begun in Ukraine, millions of people have lost their homes. Families are suffering without access to food and healthcare. With the arrival of Ramadan, almost half a million Ukrainian Muslims will struggle to observe the blessed month. We must intervene, and act now to help the people of Ukraine."Amir Khan Founder & Trustee
Alongside our implementation partner - the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement the Amir Khan Foundation will be delivering immediate assistance on the ground in Ukraine.
As the crisis continues to unfold, the Amir Khan Foundation has pledged to deliver support on the ground. In early April, Amir Khan visited Poland as part of a delegation of state officials to meet Ukrainian refugees and witness first-hand the impact of the conflict on the millions who have been displaced.
Following the visit, Amir pledged the provision of a new outdoor fitness playground for a Polish refugee home, housing Ukrainian orphans, through an initiative of the Maja Project.
Simultaneously, through our implementation partner - the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement - we have already begun delivering food and hygiene packs, clothing, and first aid training, and with your help, can continue to provide necessities to those suffering.
As the war continues to rage in Ukraine, and millions continue to be left displaced, now is the time to act by pledging your donation/zakat today.
