The Amir Khan Foundation is honoured to announce the launch of a new project to build a hospital in the Pakistani village of Matore, the home village of founder Amir Khan.
The hospital will be built in the Punjab province where Amir Khan’s family have lived for many years. Khan commented, “It is great to announce we will be building a hospital near my village Matore, free of charge for the less fortunate”. The hospital will provide free medical assistance, treatment and medications to the people of Matore to ensure no one is left behind during the pandemic which has already claimed over 1 million lives”.
This project marks the latest in a series of Amir Khan’s philanthropic endeavours through the foundation, including the provision of emergency aid to Syrian refugees and the distribution of Food and Grocery Packs to the less fortunate in both Pakistan and the UK.
