The Amir Khan Foundation has proudly joined One Family Global.

As part of a major restructuring, relaunch and incubation of the Amir Khan Foundation, former World Boxing Champion Amir Khan is delighted to be working with One Family, which shares similar values around philanthropy and changing lives for the better.

Amir said: “I'm looking forward to working alongside the team at One Family, who have achieved so much in a short space of time. Everyone who knows me knows how important charity work is to me, and this is an exciting step forward for the immediate future, as well as my focus beyond boxing.”

Since its inception in 2014, the Amir Khan Foundation has responded to global emergencies and facilitated developmental projects for individuals, families, and communities across the world. Recently, the foundation supported emergency relief efforts in war-torn Yemen, with fundraising providing families with lifesaving food packs, clean water and essential aid. The foundation also launched the flagship Gloves Community Centre project in Bolton, which uplifts the local community through access to fitness, leisure and recreational activities.

Amir’s union with One Family follows years of close friendship and collaboration with the organisation – which has a proven track record in the charity sector, leading ground-breaking initiatives to raise life-changing amounts of money.

As part of the relaunch of the Amir Khan Foundation, One Family’s Saad Awan has been appointed Executive Director by the Board of One Family. “I’m thrilled to be cementing our relationship with the Amir Khan Foundation, and look forward to working closely with Amir to take the foundation’s incredible work to the next level,” Saad said.

Chairman of One Family Global, Sharif Banna MBE, added: “We are delighted to welcome the Amir Khan Foundation into the One Family fold. Amir’s values align perfectly with ours, and we believe that our proven experience in the charitable sector will enable the foundation to grow considerably over the coming years.”
